Infant girl left in hot car in Edgemere chuch
parking lot dies
Homicide detectives investigating
A 13 month old foster child
left in hot car in a church parking lot died after going into cardiac arrest,
Baltimore County Police said.
The child died on Aug. 21,
however homicide detectives announced the investigation in a blog post Monday .
A woman who works for Shiloh
Baptist Church in Edgemere drove the baby girl to the church with plans to drop
her off at the nearby daycare center.
According to police, “she
began to speak with someone in a parking lot, walked into the church, and left
the child in the car. When she returned to the car, she found the child in
cardiac arrest. The woman immediately called 911 and started CPR.”
The baby died later that day
at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.
The child was identified as
Paris Bena Hall. She lived in the unit block of Horseman Court in Randallstown.
So far, no charges have been filed in connection with
the infant’s death.
