BREAKING: Toddlers found unresponsive in truck have died

Two toddlers found unresponsive in a pickup truck Saturday in Bossier City have died, police say.

A 3-year old boy and his twin sister who were both found unresponsive Saturday afternoon inside a pickup truck parked at their home, according to a Bossier City Police news release.

Police and fire personnel responded to the scene in the 3400 block of Horseshoe Trail just after 3 p.m. Neighbors tell police the children's mother, who was home at the time, had contacted them saying she was looking for the children. They then found the children, identified as Oliver and Aria Orr, in the truck a short time later and called 911.

Fire department personnel transported the children to Willis Knighton-Bossier where they were both pronounced deceased. The investigation into this incident remains ongoing. Autopsies will be conducted to determine the cause of the death
