Monroeville Mom Arrested In Death Of Baby In Hot
Car
Jennifer Bowden has been arrested in the death of her
baby boy in a hot car in Monroeville last week, according to officials.
Zachary, Bowden’s son, was just 7-months-old.
Police say they found out about the death initially
because Bowden was speeding to the hospital when an officer followed her and
subsequently learned something was wrong with the baby.
Other law enforcement sources have also told News 5
that at the time of the baby’s death, his core body temperature was 110 degrees
and had been left in Bowden’s car for three hours.
Bowden has an older son who she had dropped off at
school Friday morning.
Bowden is charged with reckless manslaughter, and her
bond was set at $30,000.
