Phoenix fire:
7-month-old boy dead after being pulled from a hot car in north Phoenix
PHOENIX - Phoenix fire says a months-old child is dead after
being rescued from a hot car in north Phoenix.
Authorities were
called to the area of 44th Street and Greenway Road around 4 p.m. on Friday
after a 7-month-old boy was found locked in a hot car.
Police said
the baby was in the car for "several hours" although an exact time is
unknown.
The baby was dead when help arrived, officials said. He was
not taken to a hospital.
Officials said the family was unaware that
the baby was left behind in the vehicle.
