Father arrested
after child left in car dies in Spartanburg, police say
SPARTANBURG, SC (WSPA) - Police have arrested the father of a 1-year-old
boy who died Friday in Spartanburg.
According to the coroner's
office, the child, King Trammel, died from heat-releated issues.
Spartanburg Police say the child was left unattended inside a car with the
windows closed and the engine turned off for at least an hour.
Once
the father discovered the child was not inside the home, he searched and
found him unresponsive inside the vehicle, according to police.
22-year-old Aaron Tazhon Trammel is charged with Involuntary Manslaughter
and Unlawful Neglect of a Child.
Trammel was arrested Saturday
evening.
The child reportedly lived at a home on Oakview Drive in
Spartanburg.
